A Sheltered Path by HA91 A Sheltered Path by HA91
In more ways than one :)

Even though that's my sister, she had no idea I was taking her picture, and this was quite spontaneous, so I placed it in the Street category :)

Some day, I must learn to compose spontaneous shots :|

For :iconlostknightkg:, 'cause he's awesome :D

It is a good enough shots although there are a few imperfections (see Davids comment)
For street photography I guess it is important to be super observant, have a fast camera and be fast yourself

Both my camera and I are slow, we have to work on that  Which is why I never really try street :) But I couldn't pass this up :D

Then I suppose you need to rely more on experience then the camera

I tink it's pretty good! It would have been even better if she was slightly more to the left so her head was more in the light area and blocking the car at the end of the walk. This is still good!

That is exactly what I meant :XD: It would have been super nice if that had been the case. But it was my first try at a shot like that, so I won't complain :XD: Just keep it in mind for future reference :D Thanks David!

this might be a completely stupid question, but hey, I'm dumb when it comes to geography and the like, and I can cope with that. :)
Is there snow where you live? :? If so, how much?

That's not a stupid question at all :aww: It hardly snows down here, once in around 5 years, and even then only an inch or so if we're lucky :XD: However, it snowed last year and this year (which is pretty unusual), and the snow this year was comparatively quite a lot (I believe 4-5 inches). It was epic! :D

it's interesting how many things seem to go along with the pole shift theory :P
thanks for the info! :aww:
here, there was snow this morning... again. :x but it melted instantly, so it's okay :)

I know right?! I'm really convinced that the earth's climate and polar regions are changing o.o Everyone thinks I'm crazy though -_-
No problemo :aww:
Wow snow in April? I can't even imagine that :XD: We've already hit the 80s here :D

LightCarrier Featured By Owner Apr 16, 2010
we did reach the 80's here too :) it's just that the temperature can rise and fall quickly :P
We get about one or two -10 each winter :dead: (I had to convert the degrees, I'm used to Celcius =P) and it's more likely that when we measure snowfalls, it starts with "feet"... which is great for snowboard though :D

the temperature has been doing funky things lately  I don't really mind though =D
lol you can always tell me in Celcius, I'm more used to it than Fahrenheit actually, but people here usually talk in Fahrenheit so I'm trying to make it a habit :D
haha! starting with feet...people would go crazy here if that happened :XD: but it would be soooo much fun! :D
